I’m glad to inform you that JNTUK, Kakinada is launching the Centre of Excellence for e-Learning Development & Deployment (CoEeRD) which is by far an innovative and futuristic initiative undertaken by any Indian University in standardizing the teaching-learning activity.
CoEeRD will be launched by Honorable Vice Chancellor Dr. G. Tulasi Ram Das and the launch will be streamed live between 11.00 to 12.00 noon on 1-11-2013 in Alumni Auditorium of JNTUK, Kakinada.

Through the CoEeRD the university proposes the following:
Deploy engineering eLearning courseware as per the University syllabus. The engineering eLearning courseware will be deployed and made available to college faculty’s and student’s both on the college LAN & online through a dedicated CoEeRD portal.
The engineering eLearning courseware will consist of Faculty Module and Student Module to help faculty’s plan and deliver their classroom session and create their own content; and will help students to self-learn.
Enable Bi-Directional HD Conferencing system will enable collaborative teaching – learning i.e., one-to-many and many-to-many transmission while teaching critical concepts to make learning interactive and interesting. This is proposed through:
Central Studio at JNTUK (Established)
Remote Studio at each College (Scheduled to be established)
CoEeRD implementation partners are Globarena Technologies.
